Class of Motor Vehicle

- EB or BE – Light articulated motor vehicle or combination of motor vehicle and trailer the GVM of which exceeds 750 kg, GCM of drawing vehicle not exceeding 3 500 kg
- EC1 or C1E – Heavy articulated motor vehicle or combination of motor vehicle and trailer the GVM of which exceeds 750 kg, GCM of the drawing vehicle exceeding 3 500 kg, but not exceeding 16 000 kg
- EC or CE – Extra heavy articulated motor vehicle or combination of motor vehicle and trailer the GVM of which exceeds 750 kg, GCM of drawing vehicle exceeding 16 000 kg
