Eligibility Criteria: Requirements to qualify for the bursary
To be considered for a coveted NamPower Bursary, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Namibian Citizenship: These bursaries are exclusively for Namibian nationals, enabling homegrown talent to thrive.
- Grade 11 Certificate: As an essential academic qualification, applicants must possess a Grade 11 Certificate.
- Grade 12 Results: Applicants should provide their Grade 12 1st and 2nd Term Results. If you have already completed Grade 12, please submit your Grade 12 Certificate.
- Academic Progress Report: If you are currently enrolled in a university, technikon, or university of technology, include your academic progress report as supporting documentation.
- Provisional Acceptance: Ensure that you have received provisional acceptance from a recognized institution of higher learning, such as a university, technikon, or university of technology.
Please note that NamPower Bursaries applications for study fields other than those listed above will not be considered. NamPower will contact only short-listed candidates for interviews, as the selection process is highly competitive. It is important to remember that the decision of the NamPower Bursary Committee, as endorsed by the Managing Director, is final, and no correspondence will be entertained.
