What would you do if you forgot your PIN when you got to the FNB ATM? Fortunately, if you bank with FNB, you have the option to view your PIN using the FNB App. You can view your PIN even if you have forgotten it by following the steps below, which you can find below in case you have forgotten your PIN:

  1. Open the FNB banking app on your smartphone
  2. Enter your FNB online banking details i.e Username and Password
  3. Select the “Accounts” icon, this will bring up all your accounts
  4. Select the bank account you are trying to withdraw from
  5. Click on “Account Options”
  6. Select “My cards” and select your card
  7. Click on “Manage PIN”
  8. Select “View Card PIN”

When you use your card remember to:

  • Keep your card safe and PIN secrete, always keep your card in a separate place from the card
  • The card and PIN will enable you to operate the card at ATMs and transact at merchants
  • Sign a transaction voucher and input your PIN as required by the merchant when you use the card to buy goods or services from a merchant.

Yes, Your FNB contactless card is secure and comes with multiple security features. Your card never has to leave your hand when you tap to pay, so you are always in control.

Can I accidentally make a payment just by walking too close to a point of sale?

No, The cashier must first enter your purchase amount and your card needs to be very close to the card reader ( less than 4 cm) for a transaction to take place. Card machines can only process one payment at a time, so no duplicate payments can occur.
